The Los Angeles Lakers open their six-game, 10-day Grammy road trip on Friday night facing the Denver Nuggets at the Pepsi Center. The Lakers look for their third straight win Friday night and simultaneously, their third road win of the season.

The Lakers are 2-7 on the road this season, including Sunday's 106-101 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves. The road trip for the Lakers, while the Grammy Awards are preparing for Staples Center, will also take them to Utah, Philadelphia, Boston, New York, and Toronto, facing four teams currently inline for a playoff spot this season.

The Lakers are 1-1 against the Nuggets this season, including a 99-90 loss on January 1. Kobe Bryant had one of the worst games of his career that night, missing 22 of his 28 shots from the field, but since then Kobe has averaged 32.2 points per game with a true shooting percentage of 55.7% in his last 16 games.
