Lakers Vs. Suns: LA Finishes Home And Home Series In Phoenix

Kobe Bryant has averaged 42.0 points per game in two games against the Suns this season.

The Los Angeles Lakers should be plenty familiar with their Sunday opponent, having faced them just one day ago. After defeating the Phoenix Suns 111-99 on Friday at the Staples Center, the Lakers now play in Phoenix tonight. The Lakers have won four straight against the Suns, but are currently 5-10 on the road this season.

On Friday against the Suns, Kobe Bryant tallied 36 points, nine rebounds, six assists, and four steals. He joined the 6,000 rebound club in the game, putting him 9th all time for NBA point guards. In the first meeting between these two teams this year, the Lakers closed the game with a 16-1 run and were lead by Kobe Bryant's season high 48 points.

Despite their poor road record this season, the Lakers have won three straight games in Phoenix. The Suns have lost four straight, and five of their last six.

Sunday: Lakers at Suns, 5 p.m. PST (KCAL)
