Lakers Vs. Hawks Final Score: Pau Gasol, Andrew Bynum Key 86-78 Victory

The big men for the Los Angeles Lakers came up big on Tuesday night. Pau Gasol scored 20 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, and Andrew Bynum had 15 points and 15 rebounds, leading the Lakers to an 86-78 win over the Atlanta Hawks in a defensive battle at Staples Center Tuesday night.

Gasol had four blocks, one shy of his season high, and Bynum added two blocked shots, helping the Hawks (18-11) shoot 34.4% on the night. Atlanta also made just seven of 27 shots from beyond the three-point arc (25.9%).

Kobe Bryant scored a season-low 10 points for the Lakers (17-12) on 5-of-18 shooting, to go along with five turnovers, four rebounds, and four assists. The Lakers shot 44.0% from the field, including eight for 17 from three-point range (47.1%). The Lakers got two three-pointers apiece from Metta World Peace, Andrew Goudelock, and Troy Murphy. The Lakers' bench combined for 28 points.

The Lakers, now 12-2 at home this season, have two more days off before hosting the Phoenix Suns Friday night at Staples Center.
