The Los Angeles Lakers fell 114-108 to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday at Chesapeake Energy Arena. Kevin Durant led the Thunder with 36 points and nine rebounds. The Lakers got 36 points from Kobe Bryant along with 23 points and 18 rebounds from Dwight Howard in a losing effort.
The Golden State Warriors continued their hot start with an impressive,109-102, win over the Nets in Brooklyn. David Lee led the Warriors with 30 points and 15 rebounds. Stephen Curry hit 5 of 9 three-pointers on his way to 28 points. Klay Thompson added 13 points and five rebounds.
As for other teams, the Suns were in action on Thursday, while the Kings played on Friday. Phoenix dropped a 97-94 result to the Mavericks at home, despite 15 points and 17 rebounds from Markieff Morris. Sacramento beat the Orlando Magic, 91-82, at Power Balance Pavilion. The Kings got 17 points and 14 rebounds from DeMarcus Cousins in the win.
