According to a tweet from the Orange County Register's Michael Lev, Cox Communications is expected to have Time Warner Cable SportsNet up and running in time for the Lakers-Jazz game on Wednesday but the actual channels are still to be announced.
TWC has been under fire for its inability to come to an agreement with the cable providers in order for the Lakers' games to be shown in more than just select locations. TWC is still yet to come to an agreement with DirecTV or the Dish Network, so those who use those cable providers will still be unable to watch local broadcasts of Lakers games.
The Lakers are 1-3 after securing their first win of the season on Sunday night against the Detroit Pistons, 108-79. Through three games, the Lakers are 10th in points per game but are giving up 99.8, good for 20th in the league. Their next game is against the Jazz on Wednesday, followed by a home game against the Golden State Warriors on Friday.
