The Los Angeles Lakers tip off the 2012-13 NBA regular season when they take on the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday's opening night at 7:30 p.m. PT at the Staples Center. This will be the first chance for Lakers fans to see their new superteam assembled, as Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol are joined by former Defensive Player of the Year Dwight Howard and two-time MVP Steve Nash. The Lakers will try and knock off the Mavericks on their homecourt in their first game of the 2012 NBA regular season.
For Lakers fans still in the dark because of the dispute between carriers and Time Warner, you don't have to worry about this contest; the game will be on national television on TNT. The announcers will be Kevin Harlan, Reggie Miller, and sideline reporter David Aldridge.
The radio broadcast will be available on 710 AM ESPN Los Angeles, and 1330 AM for ESPN Deportes. John Ireland and Mychal Thompson will be on the call on radio.
