The Lakers have not won a game during the preseason and are looking to notch victory No. 1 Friday night against the Sacramento Kings.
The Lakers, who have been without center Dwight Howard all preseason as he recovers from offseason back surgery, have lost to The Golden State Warriors, the Portland Trailblazers ,and the Utah Jazz, twice. Kobe Bryant, who returned from injury after missing the team's first two games, has led the Lakers in points in each of their last two outings. Howard is reportedly aiming to return for the Lakers' game Sunday.
The Kings, meanwhile, have won two of their three preseason games. DeMarcus Cousins and Marcus Thornton have been Sacramento's most consistent players so far.
