The Golden State Warriors have lost six straight games to the Los Angeles Lakers at Staples Center, and have lost 26 of their last 30 games overall against the Lakers. Golden State's task got that much harder Friday night, as guard Stephen Curry is out with a sprained right ankle.
Rookie Charles Jenkins will start at point guard in place of Curry for the Warriors, per Matt Steinmetz of CSN Bay Area. In addition, center Andris Biedrins is a game-time decision with right ankle and toe issues.
The Lakers are expected to be without Josh McRoberts, who is listed as doubtful with a sprained left big toe and left thumb. McRoberts has missed the last two games. Here are Friday's probable starting lineups:
Warriors (2-4)
Point Guard: Charles Jenkins
Shooting Guard: Monta Ellis
Small Forward: Dorell Wright
Power Forward: David Lee
Center: Andris Biedrins
Lakers (4-4)
Point Guard: Derek Fisher
Shooting Guard: Kobe Bryant
Small Forward: Matt Barnes
Power Forward: Pau Gasol
Center: Andrew Bynum
