Kobe Bryant To Give Up Three Mansions, $75 Million In Divorce Settlements

Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant's payout in his divorce settlement has been set, and according to a report from Sporting News, will have to be his former wife Vanessa Bryant around half of their net worth, dishing out around $75 million, as well as give her three mansions in the process.

California has some very strict divorce laws (seeing that the state pumps out so many of them) which state that a spouse is allowed to keep his or her 'standard or living' that they had while married, essentially meaning that Kobe and Vanessa's assets will basically be split down the middle. Obviously, there was no prenuptial agreement.

The two were married back in 2001 when Kobe was only 21 and Vanessa 18. She filed for divorce in December, citing 'irreconcilable differences" in the relationship. Vanessa has also filed for joint custody of their two children, Natalia, 8, and Gianna, 5.
