The Los Angeles Lakers will look to make it seven straight wins Tuesday night at Staples Center as they host the Phoenix Suns in a Pacific Division battle. The host Lakers will try to get that elusive seventh straight win though without a few key reserves, including forward Josh McRoberts, who is still suffering from a sprained left big toe, forward Troy Murphy (with, as Lakers beat writer Elliot Teaford describes as "tummy" problems), and forward Jason Kapono as he & his wife Ashley are expecting twin girls at Cedars-Sinai Hospital. Kapono said the girls would be named Isla and Campbell.
This will be McRoberts fifth consecutive game missed tonight, per Mike Trudell of NBA.com.
The Lakers have beaten the Suns in seven of their last 10 meetings at Staples Center. Tipoff is at 7:30pm PST on FOX Sports West, so make sure you tune in to the action.
