Lakers Get Mauled By Bobcats, 109-89
Boy, that road trip sure got less fun in a hurry, didn't it? One day after scoring their fewest points of the season in a loss in Orlando, the Los Angeles Lakers suffered their worst loss of the season, falling 109-89 to their nemesis, the Charlotte Bobcats, at Time Warner Cable Arena.

Lakers Vs. Bobcats: Kobe Bryant Will Play Tonight In Charlotte
The Los Angeles Lakers received some good, if not expected, news this afternoon in Charlotte, as Kobe Bryant will in fact play against the Bobcats tonight. Kobe missed shootaround this morning with "chills and aches," according to Broderick Turner of the Los Angeles Times. Bryant has started every game this season.

The Los Angeles Lakers will look for their fifth win in six games on the current road trip tonight, but they may be facing the Charlotte Bobcats without their best player. Kobe Bryant is feeling sick today, and skipped morning shootaround in Charlotte this morning.

Lakers Vs. Bobcats: Andrew Bynum (Knee) Expected To Start
The Lakers held their collective breath Sunday against Orlando, when center Andrew Bynum bumped knees with Dwight Howard of the Magic with about nine minutes remaining in the game. It was Bynum's left knee, the same knee in which Bynum had a bone bruise which caused him to miss a game against the Rockets 13 days ago. However, Bynum showed no ill effects after the game, per Mike Trudell of NBA.com.

Lakers Vs. Bobcats: L.A. Has Struggled Of Late Against Charlotte
The Los Angeles Lakers look for their fifth win in six games on the current road trip, but to do so they will have to beat a team that has unexpectedly become their nemesis in recent years, the Charlotte Bobcats. The Lakers have lost seven of their last nine games overall, and have lost four of their last five games in Charlotte.
