Chris Paul Trade: Lamar Odom Upset, Frustrated With Los Angeles Lakers

While the Los Angeles Lakers and their fans eagerly await the arrival of recently-acquired All-Star point guard Chris Paul, there were some in the organization who were shocked and unhappy with the deal. One of those players is Lamar Odom, who will be sent to the New Orleans Hornets along with Pau Gasol. Odom recently went on the air and addressed the trade.

It is completely understandable for Odom, an NBA veteran of 12 years, to be disgruntled after learning of the deal. He has always been viewed a professional on and off the court and was a key part of the 2009 and 2010 championship teams. Odom and Gasol now head south to New Orleans, where the team does not project to win much in the near future and is currently being run without true ownership.
