NBA Schedule 2011-2012: Lakers Schedule Leaks, Will Play Miami Heat In Two Televised Games

The NBA schedule won't be officially released until 4 p.m. PT today on NBATV but a leaked schedule obtained by the Orange County Register, gives us a glimpse of what will most likely make up the shortened 66-game season for the Lakers.

The schedule includes two games against the Miami Heat on Jan. 19 (on TNT) and March 4 (on ABC). The Lakers will not visit the Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Bobcats, Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers, Indiana Pacers and New Jersey Nets due to the shortened schedule and the need to focus on conference rivalries.

The Lakers start the season with a back-to-back-to-back against the Bulls on Dec. 25, the Sacramento Kings on Dec. 26 and the Utah Jazz on Dec. 27, all without Andrew Bynum who starts the season serving his five-game suspension.

The longest road trip of the season will be in February with visits to the Denver Nuggets, Jazz, Philadelphia 76ers, Boston Celtics, New York Knicks and Toronto Raptors.
