Los Angeles Clippers Free Agent News: Clippers Waive Willie Warren, Three Others

The Los Angeles Clippers are gearing up for their preseason game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday night, but they still managed to make some front-office team moves.

An official press release on Monday announced that the Clippers have waived four players. The most notable of the four is Willie Warren, who averaged 1.9 points per game in 19 games with the Clips last season. Also waived were Blake Ahearn, Adam Koch and Renaldo Major, leaving the Clippers with 14 men on their current roster.

Warren was drafted in the second round by the Clippers in 2010 and was a teammate of Blake Griffin at Oklahoma in 2008-2009.

Monday's 7:30 p.m. PST game will be televised by Fox Sports West, Prime Ticket, and NBA TV. For more news and information on the Lakers, be sure to read Silver Screen and Roll. For all things Clippers, be sure to read Clips Nation.
