As this year of bizarre sports fashion comes to a close, it figures that one of the biggest superstars on the planet throws his hat (well, more like sneakers) into the ring. Kobe Bryant has some Nikes he wants to show off to the world!

The Violet / Volt / Electric Green edition of the Kobe VII builds on the Predator Pack (which also includes the Shark, Wolf and Snake). The version shown uses the system's Attack Strong insert, featuring the full-length cushion midsole and ankle cuff.
Interestingly, this line of shoe is dubbed the "Cheetah". Perhaps Kobe hopes this line of shoe will make him go a little bit faster than he usually can with those aching knees. In all likelihood he'll probably need to go at full-speed if he plans to keep up on the court with the younger and more agile Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls.
