Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Rudy Gay scored 27 points, Zach Randolph had 21 and the Memphis Grizzlies earned their most lopsided road win ever against the Los Angeles Lakers, a 104-85 victory Sunday at Staples Center. The Grizzlies got 15 points from reserve O.J. Mayo and salvaged a 1-2 road trip with only their third win in eight games overall. They also snapped a four-game road losing streak to the Lakers.
Kobe Bryant was the only Laker scorer in double digits until the fourth quarter, ending with 28 points on 10-of-22 shooting in LA's fourth loss in six games. The Lakers were coming off back-to-back wins against New Orleans and Philadelphia, but those victories came on the heels of three straight setbacks. The Lakers next host Detroit on Tuesday night at Staples Center.
