The Los Angeles Lakers will look to run their record to 8-0 tonight as they host the Minnesota Timberwolves, now without the top two point guards on their depth chart. Starting point guard Luke Ridnour is out for at least a week with a strained left hamstring, per Jerry Zgoda of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. Minnesota is also without Jonny Flynn until late November as he recovers from offseason hip surgery. Sebastian Telfair will start in place of Ridnour at point guard tonight.
Here are the probable starting lineups tonight for both teams.
Timberwolves
Point Guard: Sebastian Telfair
Shooting Guard: Wesley Johnson
Small Forward: Michael Beasley
Power Forward: Kevin Love
Center: Darko Milicic
Lakers
Point Guard: Derek Fisher
Shooting Guard: Kobe Bryant
Small Forward: Ron Artest
Power Forward: Lamar Odom
Center: Pau Gasol
The usual suspects, Theo Ratliff (sore left knee) and Luke Walton (strained right hamstring) are listed as probable.
