2012 Stanley Cup Finals, Kings Vs. Devils Game 4: Game Time, TV Coverage And More

The Los Angeles Kings are a mere one win away from winning their first Stanley Cup, holding a 3-0 lead over the New Jersey Devils in the 2012 Stanley Cup Final. The Kings have a chance on Wednesday to close out the series at home at Staples Center in Los Angeles in Game 4. Here are the relevant details of Wednesday's contest:

Time: 5 p.m. PDT

Location: Staples Center in Los Angeles

TV: NBC Sports Network. The Kings tweeted out late Monday night that the game would be televised on NBC, but later corrected themselves. The game will be on the former Versus channel, but should the series continue past Wednesday each remaining game will be televised on the big network.

Scoring First: In each of the first three games of the series, the Kings have scored first. In Game 1, Colin Fraser scored at 9:56 of the first period, and in Game 2 Drew Doughty lit the lamp at 7:49 of the first period. In Game 3 at home, neither team scored in the first period but the Kings made up for it with a pair of second period goals on their way to a 4-0 triumph.

Game 4 Woes: The Kings are a whopping 15-2 this postseason, but their only two losses have come in Game 4. They lost 3-1 at home to the Vancouver Canucks in the first round on April 18, and they lost 2-0 at home to the Phoenix Coyotes in the NHL Western Conference Finals.

Home vs. Road: The Kings are 5-2 at home this postseason, while the Devils are 6-5 on the road.
