Every time the St. Louis Blues made the game close, the Kings answered back.

The Los Angeles Kings offense came alive once again, giving the team a commanding 3-0 series lead after their 4-2 victory over the Blues on Thursday night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

The Kings answered back in under a minute when Dwight King converted a wrist shot from 26-feet, assisted by Matt Greene. Eight minutes later the Kings extended their lead to 3-1, on a powerplay goal from Mike Richards.

In the fourth minute of the third period, Chris Stewart scored his second goal of the game bringing the Blues within one goal of tying the Kings. However, four minutes later, the Kings' Drew Doughty answered again, scoring a 50 foot slapshot assisted by Mike Richards and Jeff Carter.
