The Los Angeles Kings made it into the postseason by the skin of their teeth, but since the playoffs began, they have been a veritable juggernaut, steamrolling the Western Conference favorites by eliminating the Vancouver Canucks and the St. Louis Blues with few problems. They have now gone up 3-0 against the Phoenix Coyotes and are just one little win away from heading to their second-ever Stanley Cup final. It really is beginning to feel like a team of destiny.
On Sunday, the Kings will have a chance to clinch the conference title in front of a rabid home crowd at the Staples Center as they host the Yotes in Game 4 of the best-of-seven series. Can they manage their second straight playoffs sweep and coast to the final with plenty of time to rest up for the biggest series in hockey?
Sunday's Game 4 will begin at 12:00 p.m. PT and will be televised nationally on NBC.
