Kings Vs. Blues, NHL Playoffs Schedule: L.A.'s 2nd Round Matchup Begins On Saturday

The Los Angeles Kings overcame their underdog tag in the first round of the 2012 Stanley Cup playoffs and upended the No. 1 seed and Presidents' Cup winners the Vancouver Canucks. Now, the Kings will head into the Western Conference Semifinals against the odds-on favorites to win the conference, the St. Louis Blues.

Now that all eight first-round winners have been determined, the schedule for the first games in each second-round series have been released. The Kings and Blues, having made such short work of their first-round opponents, are lucky enough to have the first four games mapped out for them.

The series will begin on Saturday in St. Louis. The game will begin at 4:30 p.m. PT and will be televised nationally on NBC SportsNet.

Game 2 will be on Monday, also in St. Louis. It will begin at 6:00 p.m. PT and will be televised on CNBC. On Thursday, the series returns to Los Angeles and will begin at 7:00 p.m. PT, once again airing on NBC SportsNet. The puck drops for game four on Sunday, May 6 at noon PT and will air on NBC. Games 5 though 7, if needed, will be scheduled later on.
