Canucks Vs. Kings, 2012 NHL Playoffs Game 5: Jonathan Quick, Cory Schneider Save Everything In Sight, Vancouver Up 2-1 After 2nd Period

The Los Angeles Kings were the aggressors for most of the second period, but weren't able to ultimately put the puck in the net. As a result, the Vancouver Canucks retain their 1-0 lead over the Kings after two periods Sunday night in Game 5 of their NHL playoff first round battle at Rogers Arena.

The Kings lead the series 3-1 and are in search of their first playoff series win since 2001.

Trailing 1-0 after the first period, the Kings controlled the puck for the bulk of the second period but ultimately Vancouver tied them with 10 shots each in the second period. Both Jonathan Quick for Los Angeles and Cory Schneider for the Canucks were outstanding, specifically Quick on a pair of late breakaways, including robbing Daniel Sedin at point blank range in the final minutes.

Though there weren't any goals in the period, that doesn't mean there wasn't any excitement. After all, this kid found a way to enjoy his time at Rogers Arena:
