Kings Vs. Canucks, 2012 NHL Playoffs Game 4: Alexander Edler, Kevin Bieksa Give Vancouver 2-1 Lead

If the Los Angeles Kings are going to win their first playoff series in 11 years on Wednesday night, they will have to come from behind in the final period. A pair of second period goals by the Vancouver Canucks gave the No. 1 seed a 2-1 lead over the No. 8 seed Kings after two period in Game 4 of their first round NHL playoff series at Staples Center.

Alexander Edler scored at 4:07 of the second period, his second goal of the series, to bring the Canucks even at 1-1. Then, just over four minutes later Kevin Bieksa gave the Canucks their first lead of the night with his first goal of the series.

The Kings kept their barrage on Cory Schneider with an 18-9 shot advantage in the second period, but Schneider has saved 30 of 31 shots through two periods. The Kings have never swept a playoff series in their franchise history.
