The opening round NHL Stanley Cup playoff series between the Los Angeles Kings and the Vancouver Canucks has made it to Southern California. The Kings lead the series two games to none and are hoping to move one step closer to the next round with a win on Sunday night. Should they pull off the victory on Sunday, they will need just one more win to advance and will have an opportunity to clinch on home ice. Through one period of play, the game is scoreless.
The Kings relied heavily on Dustin Brown and goalie Jonathan Quick in the first two games. Quick is getting plenty of work thus far in the third game, as the Canucks are attacking the net, taking 11 shots on goal compared to just five by the Kings. Quick has saved them all.
