A few eyewitnesses saw the Vancouver Canucks' Daniel Sedin skating on his own early Friday morning, though isn't a sign of good things for him on Friday as he will more than likely not be suiting up against the Los Angeles Kings in the first round on Western Conference playoffs.
When asked about him, Vancouver head coach Alain Vigneault had nothing to report about Sedin's early morning skate, and still had nothing new to report on his status dealing with a concussion.
Vigneault--i have to say there's nothing to report on Daniel [Sedin]

vigneault asked if Daniel Sedin will travel to LA for Games 3-4: 'i couldn't answer that.'

The longer he is out the better for the Kings, but you hate to see a player of his caliber have to sit out in the playoffs.
