The Los Angeles Kings look for their first playoff series win in 11 years, but to do so all they have to do is upend the team with the best record in the NHL, the No. 1 seed Vancouver Canucks. Game 1 of their first round NHL playoff series is Wednesday night at Rogers Arena in Vancouver. Here are the relevant details of Wednesday's contest:

Records: Kings (40-27-15); Canucks (51-22-9)

Game 1 Location: Rogers Arena in Vancouver

Time: 7:30 p.m. PDT

TV: NBC Sports Network nationally, KCOP channel 13 locally

Injury Report: Kings forward Brad Richardson had an emergency appendectomy on Monday and is out. Center Andrei Loktionov has been recalled from Manchester for the Kings. Jeff Carter missed the last five games of the year with a bone bruise, but could play in Game 1 for Los Angeles. Vancouver leading scorer Daniel Sedin has been out since March 21 with a concussion but returned to practice earlier in the week.

Series History: The Kings are 2-2-0 against the Canucks this season, with each team splitting at home. Vancouver beat the Kings 4-2 in the first round of the playoffs in the 2009-2010 season.
