Kings Vs. Blackhawks Preview: Game Time, TV Schedule & More

The Los Angeles Kings are trying to make a big push in the final month of the 2011-12 NHL season. They'll need a road win over the Chicago Blackhawks to keep pace in the hunt.

The Los Angeles Kings are looking to get back into the playoff hunt, but they are beginning to run out of time. While the Kings, Sharks and Coyotes have all been struggling, the Dallas Stars have been putting distance between themselves and the rest of the Pacific Division merely by playing competent hockey (of course, going 9-0-1 over their last 10 games doesn't hurt, either).

The Kings have sometimes seen flurries of output from their slumbering offense, but now is the time for the scoring to kick into high gear if Los Angeles doesn't want to miss the cut. They will look to snap their two-game losing streak on Sunday evening as they visit the Chicago Blackhawks, who will prove to be no pushovers at home.

The puck will drop for Sunday's game at 5:00 p.m. PDT. The game will be televised nationally on NBC SportsNet (Formerly Vs.). You can listen to the radio broadcast on KTLK 1150.
