The Los Angeles Kings are still chasing the San Jose Sharks for control of the Pacific Division. They currently sit two points out of first place as of Monday morning. The Kings will play three games this week, as they finish up a four-game home stand and kick off a big six-game road trip.
First up are the Columbus Blue Jackets, who are unarguably the worst team in the NHL this season, holding a 13-30-6 record and sitting dead last in the otherwise-stacked Central Division. This game should be just what the Kings ordered to finish up their home stand and hit the road. This game will start at 7:30 PM PST on Wednesday, February 1 and will be televised on FS-W.
The Kings will then hit the road and take on the St. Louis Blues on Friday, February 3. The Blues should prove to be a considerably tougher foe, currently holding second place in the Central Division, two points behind the Detroit Red wings. The puck will drop on this one at 5:00 PM PST and will also air on FS-W.
Finally this week, Los Angeles will face off against the Carolina Hurricanes. The Canes are another last-place team, duking it out with the Tampa Bay Lightning for last place in the Southeast Division. That game will take place at 4:00 PM PST on Saturday, February 4. The game will be televised on FS-W and NHLN-US.
