Kings Vs. Devils: Dustin Penner Expected To Start For Kings In First Game Back On North American Soil

After a pair of games in Europe, the Los Angeles Kings are back in the United States, and will make their regular season North American debut Thursday night, battling the New Jersey Devils at Prudential Center in Newark. Dustin Penner missed the first two games of the season with the classically vague hockey term "lower body injury," but is expected to start tonight. Penner will be the left wing on the line with Brad Richards and Dustin Brown.

Here are the details of Thursday night's contest:

Teams: Los Angeles Kings (1-1-0), New Jersey Devils (1-1-0)

Time: 4 p.m. PDT

Location: Prudential Center, Newark, New Jersey

TV: Fox Sports West

Leading Scorers: Anze Kopitar has a league-leading three goals and an assist through two games for the Kings; Ilya Kovalchuk leads the Devils with three points, coming on a goal and two assists in their first two contests.

Last Season: In their only meeting of the year, the Kings beat the Devils 3-1 at Staples Center in Los Angeles behind a goal and two assists from Jarret Stoll.
