Kings Get Rare Road Win In Motown, Blank Red Wings 5-0

Detroit, MI (Sports Network) – Jonathan Quick made a career-high 51 saves for his second shutout of the season, while Drew Doughty notched a goal and two assists to help the Los Angeles Kings stun the Detroit Red Wings, 5-0, at Joe Louis Arena.

Jack Johnson, Oscar Moller, Anze Kopitar and Wayne Simmonds each posted goals for Los Angeles, which bounced back from Saturday’s 3-2 overtime loss to Minnesota. Dustin Brown chipped in with two helpers in the win.

Jimmy Howard stopped 21-of-26 shots for the Red Wings, who had a two-game win streak snapped.
