It’s been just four days, but it’s time for the Los Angeles Galaxy and New York Red Bulls to kick off again, this time at the Home Depot Center. The Galaxy lead the aggregate series 1-0. Last night, Real Salt Lake became the first team to qualify for the Western Conference Championship, defeating the Seattle Sounders 3-2 on aggregate.
Kickoff: 8:00 PDT
Weather Forecast: The sun is supposed to set at 6 pm today, and we’re still in daylight savings time. Temperature should be around 62 degrees at kickoff and mostly cloudy, with 70% humidity. Bring a jacket – and of course your scarf.
TV Coverage: ESPN2, ESPN Deportes, ESPN3.com
Radio: Looks like no English language radio tonight, 1330 in Spanish.
Opening Line: The Galaxy are now a full goal favorite, the over/under has been raised to 2.5, with the under the favorite.
Prediction: 2-0 Galaxy. New York may play better with Marquez, but they’re still a fragile team emotionally, and an early goal would be enough to break them.
