The San Diego Padres are one of the hottest teams in baseball in the second half of the season, and although the Padres are all but eliminated from postseason contention, they can still play spoilers to the Los Angeles Dodgers' postseason hopes. The two teams open a three-game series Monday with the Dodgers only half a game out of a wild-card spot in the National League.

The Dodgers still have their sights set on the NL West title, though they trail San Francisco by 4 1/2 games. Adrian Gonzalez, fresh off being a hero Sunday afternoon with his walk-off double, plays his former team for the first time as a Dodger.

Here are game days and times, probable starting pitchers and where to see the games.

Monday: 5:10 p.m., Joe Blanton (9-12, 4.95) vs Andrew Wener (1-1, 3.00), Prime Ticket

Tuesday: 7:10 p.m., Clayton Kershaw (12-8, 2.85) vs. Eric Stults (5-2, 2.43), KCAL

Wednesday, 7:10 p.m., Aaron Harang (9-8, 3.76) vs. Clayton Richard (12-12, 3.74), Prime Ticket
