Dodgers Recall Josh Wall From Triple A, Option Shawn Tolleson

The Los Angeles Dodgers have recalled reliever Josh Wall from Triple A Albuquerque and have optioned Shawn Tolleson to Single A Rancho Cucamonga.

Wall, an all-PCL performer, is making his second stint with the Dodgers in 2012. He debuted with LA against New York on July 22nd, pitching one scoreless inning. That was his only appearance before Monday. Since Wall was sent back down, he has a 1.98 ERA in 14 appearances. The former second-round pick was leading the PCL in saves with 27.

Tolleson had been pitching well in spurts for the Dodgers, including an 11.2 IP scoreless streak from July 24 to Aug. 24 that spanned 13 relief appearances. He struggled in his last appearance before being sent down, allowing two home runs on Sunday.
