The Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants have flip-flopped between first and second place in the National League West three times in the last four days, and the now second-place Dodgers hope that trend continues Tuesday night at Dodger Stadium.
Mark Ellis is getting the night off for the Dodgers, with Adam Kennedy starting at second base, giving the Dodgers another left-handed bat in the lineup against Tim Lincecum. Buster Posey gets the start at first base Tuesday night instead of behind the plate, with Hector Sanchez catching Lincecum.
