2012 Home Run Derby: Prince Fielder Wins Home Run Derby

The man who just barely kicked Mark Trumbo out of the Home Run Derby couldn't surpass the mighty wall the Prince Fielder built around his castle. Bautista ended the final round with a mere seven to Fielder's 12 home runs, which tied a record for most home runs in a final round. He had a few late out heroics, including mashing the golden ball for the umpteenth time, but Fielder paced so far ahead with 12 home runs that it seemed impossible from the start.

Fielder became the first Home Run Derby Champion to win as a representative of both leagues, winning it as well in 2009 as a Milwaukee Brewer.
