The 2012 MLB Futures Game will take place on Sunday, unofficially kicking off the All-Star break. The best minor leaguers will square off, as a team of U.S.-born standouts takes on foreign-born prospects who will comprise the World team.

Infielder Jean Segura and pitcher Ariel Pena will both represent the Los Angeles Angels on the World team, while London-born pitcher Chris Reed will represent the Los Angeles Dodgers. Neither Southern California team will have a representative on the U.S. team, so that should inform your rooting interests for this one.

The game will begin at 2 p.m. PT and will be televised nationally on ESPN 2, or you can catch the game online at MLB.tv.
