Dodgers Vs. Cardinals Final Score: St. Louis Rally Dooms Clayton Kershaw In 8-2 Loss

Clayton Kershaw allowed a season-high eight runs as the Los Angeles Dodgers lost to the St. Louis Cardinals 8-2 on Tuesday night at Busch Stadium. The loss snapped the Dodgers' five-game winning streak and snapped an eight-game winning streak by the Dodgers over the Cardinals.

An RBI double by Juan Rivera and a run-scoring single by Luis Cruz in the fourth inning gave the Dodgers a 2-0 lead. Kershaw held that lead until the fifth, when three consecutive hits with two outs tied the game.

The wheels then came off in the sixth, when the Cardinals rallied for six runs, including two inherited runs scoring on a double allowed by reliever Josh Lindblom. St. Louis pitcher Adam Wainwright, who hit an RBI double in the fifth inning, followed with a bases loaded walk in the sixth.

But on the mound, Wainwright was even better, allowing two runs in 7 1/3 innings, striking out seven while walking just one.

Aaron Harang gets the start for the Dodgers on Wednesday night in the third game of the series, against Kyle Lohse of the Cardinals.
