Dodgers Vs. White Sox Final Score: Dee Gordon Walk-Off Single Gives L.A. 2-1 Win

Dee Gordon's walk-off single in the 10th inning gave the Los Angeles Dodgers a 2-1 win over the Chicago White Sox on Sunday afternoon at Dodger Stadium. It capped a comeback for the Dodgers, who scored the tying run in the ninth inning.

Sunday was the fourth one-run game in a row for the Dodgers, who have had 10 one-run contests in their last 14 games. It was also a tremendous pitching duel.

Chris Capuano allowed just one run in eight innings for the Dodgers, striking out a season-high 12 in the process. But he was bested by Jose Quintana, who pitched eight scoreless innings, allowing only five hits. Despite throwing just 77 pitches in his eight innings, Quintana was pulled in favor of closer Addison Reed in the ninth inning.

The Dodgers scored a run off Reed on two singles and a sacrifice fly. That might have been the second run of the game for the Dodgers, but they had a run taken off the board when Matt Treanor was called out on appeal for leaving third base too early on a sacrifice fly in the sixth inning. Manager Don Mattingly was ejected, and said after the game that replays showed Treanor was on the bag for 1.3 seconds.

The Dodgers are off Monday, then open a nine-game road trip Tuesday night in Oakland.
