Dodgers Vs. Angels: Andre Ethier Re-Ups, Juan Uribe Returns To Lineup

The Los Angeles Dodgers look to snap a five-game home losing streak on Tuesday night when they host the Los Angeles Angels in the second game of a three-game series at Dodger Stadium. The Dodgers have lost nine of their last 11 home games against the Angels.

Andre Ethier, who signed a five-year, $85 million contract extension earlier on Tuesday, is currently in a 5-for-43 slump since Matt Kemp went on the disabled list a second time. Ethier was 0-for-4 with three strikeouts and an RBI groundout in the series opener on Monday.

"I talked to him last night a little bit about it, to make sure this thing hadn't been bothering him," manager Don Mattingly said before Tuesday's game. "(Ethier said) it's been going on the whole time and it hasn't bothered him. He said he felt right, and was just struggling with his swing."

Juan Uribe gets the start at third base for the Dodgers on Tuesday, one month after his last start and one day after getting activated from the disabled list. "Hopefully we'll get back a little bit more of a dangerous bat, and Juan we feel like is our best defender at third base," Mattingly said. Uribe was hit by a pitch in the ninth inning as a pinch hitter on Monday night.

Here is the starting lineup for the Dodgers on Tuesday:

Gordon SS
Ellis C
Ethier RF
Rivera 1B
Abreu LF
Kennedy 2B
Uribe 3B
Gwynn CF
Harang P
