The Los Angeles Dodgers look to snap a four-game losing streak on Friday night as they open a weekend series against the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field. Friday also opens a 10-game road trip for the Dodgers, who are 11-10 on the road this season.
Chris Capuano gets the start for the Dodgers, making his first start of June after going 4-1 with a 1.62 ERA in five starts during May. Capuano has allowed eight runs, seven earned, in his last seven starts, and is looking for his eighth win of the season. Capuano allowed one run in seven innings against the Rockies at Dodger Stadium on May 11.
Relief pitcher Josh Outman gets the spot start for the Rockies, in place of Jamie Moyer, who was designated for assignment earlier this week.
The Dodgers have won four of six games against the Rockies this season, but lost two of three at Coors Field last month.
