The Los Angeles Dodgers had a tough road trip, losing four of six games, but return home to host the San Francisco Giants in a three-game series beginning Monday night at Dodger Stadium. The Dodgers have an eight-game homestand, facing all National League West opponents.

Ted Lilly gets the start for the Dodgers, looking to continue his hot start. Lilly is 3-0 with a 1.38 ERA in his four starts, having allowed a total of five runs. Lilly is part of a trio of Dodgers left-handed starters that have succeeded thus far to the tune of a 2.15 ERA and 85 strikeouts in 100 innings. The Dodgers are 13-3 in games started by Lilly, Clayton Kershaw, and Chris Capuano so far this season.

Another light-throwing left-hander starts for the Giants, as Barry Zito gets the start of San Francisco. Zito is 1-0 with a 1.76 ERA in five starts so far, with 13 walks and 15 strikeouts in 30 2/3 innings.

The Dodgers are dealing with a myriad of injuries heading into the opener. Both Juan Uribe (left wrist) and Jerry Hairston Jr. (left hamstring) might be headed for the disabled list, and a tight left hamstring could possibly keep Matt Kemp out of the starting lineup for a second straight day.

The Dodgers did make a roster move on Monday, as they reinstated Ivan DeJesus Jr. from the disabled list and simultaneously optioned the infielder to Triple A Albuquerque.
