The Los Angeles Dodgers look to salvage a single game of their four-game series against the Milwaukee Brewers on Thursday night at Dodger Stadium. But they will have to do so without center fielder Matt Kemp, who re-aggravated his left hamstring injury in Wednesday's game.
Elian Herrera gets the call in center field tonight for the Dodgers, but the most intriguing note about the lineup is that catcher A.J. Ellis is batting second, after batting mostly seventh and eighth all season. It is the first time he has batted higher than fifth in his career. The move is a long time coming for Ellis, whose .430 on-base percentage is third in the National League.
Here are the starting lineups for Thursday's series finale:
Brewers (22-28)
Aoki LF
Morgan CF
Hart RF
Ramirez 3B
Green 1B
Weeks 2B

Maysonet SS
Greinke P
Dodgers (32-18)
Herrera CF

Ethier RF
Hairston 2B
Kennedy 3B
