Dodgers Vs. Astros Starting Lineups: Scott Van Slyke, Jerry Sands Get Call On Sunday

The Los Angeles Dodgers look for another home series win on Sunday as they host the Houston Astros in the finale of a three-game weekend series at Dodger Stadium. This is the eighth series of at least three games for the Dodgers this season, and they have won six of the first seven series, including five sweeps. The Dodgers are 20-5 at home this season, tied with the 1980 and 1974 clubs for their best start after 25 home games.

Chris Capuano gets the start for the Dodgers on Sunday, looking for his seventh win and his eighth straight quality start. Matt Treanor is behind the plate for the Dodgers, the sixth consecutive time he has caught Capuano.

With the left-handed J.A. Happ on the mound, right-handers Scott Van Slyke and Jerry Sands get the start on Sunday, at first base and left field, respectively. It is likely that one of them will be optioned to Triple A on Sunday when Matt Kemp is activated from the disabled list.
