Dodgers Vs. Diamondbacks Final Score: Ivan De Jesus Caps L.A. Comeback Win 8-7

The Los Angeles Dodgers keep finding new ways to win. Tuesday night at Chase Field in Phoenix, the Dodgers trailed the Arizona Diamondbacks by five runs in the seventh inning. But they rallied to tie the game in the seventh then, after falling behind again, rallied to win in the ninth. Ivan De Jesus hit a two-run double with two outs in the ninth inning to give the Dodgers an 8-7 win, their sixth consecutive victory.

De Jesus drove in the tying run in the seventh as well with a sacrifice fly, the latest hero to fill in as Matt Kemp is on the disabled list with a strained left hamstring. The Dodgers are 7-2 without Kemp and have amazingly scored 5.11 runs per game.

Tony Gwynn Jr. had three hits to extend his hitting streak to eight games. Dee Gordon returned to the lineup for the first time in four days and went 2-for-4 with a run scored out of the eighth spot in the batting order. A.J. Ellis had a 2-for-4 night of his own.

The Diamondbacks put the tying run at third base with one out in the ninth, but Kenley Jansen got Jason Kubel to hit into a double play to end the game. Jansen struck out two in his scoreless inning, including one on a wild pitch that allowed Willie Bloomquist to reach base, for his sixth save of the season.

Ted Lilly is on the mound on Wednesday night as the Dodgers go for the sweep.
