Dodgers Vs. Rockies Final Score: Three Home Runs Back Chris Capuano In 7-3 Win

The Los Angeles Dodgers roughed up Colorado Rockies' pitching for three home runs in support of the stellar Chris Capuano in their 7-3 win Friday night in the opener of a three-game series at Dodger Stadium.

Capuano didn't allow a run until two outs in the seventh inning, when Michael Cuddyer took him over the left field wall for his fourth home run of the season. The run snapped a string of 24 2/3 scoreless innings for Capuano, who improved to 5-0 on the season with a 2.06 ERA. He has given up six runs in his last six starts.

Mark Ellis homered off Jamie Moyer in the first inning to give the Dodgers a 1-0 lead. Moyer struck out seven in his five innings and was able to keep the Dodgers off balance through the first four innings for the most part, but they finally broke through with three runs in the fifth inning, highlighted by an Ellis double and an RBI singly by Andre Ethier.

Ethier added a solo home run in the seventh inning, as did Juan Uribe in the eighth inning, helping the Dodgers to their second straight win. The Dodgers are 10-4 against National League West teams this season.

Aaron Harang gets the start for the Dodgers on Saturday night, facing Juan Nicasio for Colorado.
