Dodgers Vs. Padres: Game Preview, Starting Lineups

The Dodgers look to open their season with two straight wins on Friday night as they battle the San Diego Padres at Petco Park. Chad Billingsley gets the start for the Dodgers, facing Cory Luebke for the Padres.

Billingsley made his major league debut at Petco Park on June 15, 2006, and in 11 career starts in San Diego is 4-4 with a 2.65 ERA. But he has lost his last two starts at Petco Park, thanks in part to the Dodgers scoring zero runs in those games.

Luebke ssigned a three-year, $12 million contract extension this offseason with two option years that could cover one season of free agency. In parts of two seasons with the Padres, Luebke has 172 strikeouts in 157 major league innings.

Here are the lineups for Friday night. James Loney sits against the left-hander, and Andre Ethier moves to fifth instead of cleanup:
