Dodgers Vs. Nationals Starting Lineups: Dee Gordon Sits

The Los Angeles Dodgers look to complete a sweep of the Washington Nationals on Sunday afternoon at Dodger Stadium. Chris Capuano takes the mound for the Dodgers while Gio Gonzalez takes the hill for the Nationals in a battle of pitchers in search of their third win of the season.

Leadoff hitter Dee Gordon is hitting .210 with a .253 on-base percentage so far this season, and he has Sunday off against a tough lefty in Gonzalez. Manager Don Mattingly said it was a planned day off for Gordon.

Jerry Hairston Jr. was hit in the left hand by a pitch Saturday night and though his hand is sore on Sunday he is available to pinch hit. Juan Rivera, who strained his left hamstring Tuesday, is also available to hit and could play first base if needed, Mattingly said. Rivera pinch hit on Saturday night, his first game action in four days.
