Dodgers Spring Training 2012: Cactus League Schedule Ends, Freeway Series Awaits

The Los Angeles Dodgers end their Cactus League slate this weekend with a pair of games against the Arizona Diamondbacks. After that, they head back to Southern California to play their annual Freeway Series against the Angels, starting Monday in Anaheim. Here is a look at the scheduled heading into the final few days of spring training for the Dodgers:

Saturday - Dodgers at Arizona (1:10 p.m.): The Dodgers make their second trip this spring to the gorgeous Salt River Fields at Talking Stick, in the first of two straight meetings with their division rivals. Clayton Kershaw will make his final start of the spring, though it is expected to be a light tuneup heading into his Thursday start at Petco Park in San Diego on opening day.

Sunday - Arizona at Dodgers (1:05 p.m.): Chad Billingsley starts for the Dodgers, but expect a ton of minor leaguers on the final day of camp, with many regulars making their way home, either driving or flying.

Monday - Dodgers at Angels (7:05 p.m.): This would have been Ted Lilly's start, but he will open the season on the disabled list as he builds up arm strength from missing time with a stiff neck. Nathan Eovaldi gets the call here in Anaheim.

Tuesday - Angels at Dodgers (7:10 p.m.): Aaron Harang starts for the Dodgers

Wednesday - Angels at Dodgers (12:10 p.m.): This will be another day for rookies, as the Dodgers regulars will likely be resting or playing a few amount of innings in anticipation of Thursday's opener.
