Rafael Ynoa went 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBIs as the Mesa Solar Sox defeated the Salt River Rafters 7-5 on Friday. Ynoa finished the day with two hits, one for a triple, a run, a walk and two RBIs to raise his average to .342.
Joc Pederson was the other Dodger's position prospect to play and he continued his struggles at the plate. Pederson went 1-for-5 with a run and a stolen base. His batting average dropped to .114 through the Arizona Fall League. Pederson only have five hits in 44 at bats. The stolen base was his third of the AFL.
The only pitcher with a Dodgers' connection was Chris Reed who pitched a scoreless eighth inning to get his first hold of the AFL. He went one inning and gave up one hit while striking out two. He lowered his ERA down to 8.64 in the process.
