Rafael Ynoa drove home two runs, but the rest of the Mesa Solar Sox couldn't keep pace with the Surprise Saguaros, losing 10-8 on Tuesday.
Ynoa continued his hot hitting in the Arizona Fall League, going 1-4 with two RBI in the effort. He leads the team in batting average (.330), RBI (20), hits (30) and is second on the team with a slugging percentage of .505.
Three Dodgers' pitching prospects appeared in the game with pretty solid results. Chris Reed pitched 1⅔ scoreless innings, giving up two hits and a walk while striking out two. Eric Eadington pitched 1⅓ innings and struck out one. Red Patterson went 1⅓ innings as well and gave up two hits while walking or striking out no one. None of the prospects gave up any runs.
Outfield prospect Joc Pederson was given the day off as he continues his offensive struggles. He is hitting just 106/.176/.170 through 13 games.
